Memorable   Meals   explores   through   the   large   scale photographic print and accompanying text, the unique and consuming  human  activity  of  eating.   Food preferences, special   diets,   eating   patterns,   construct   a   digestive blueprint - a significant line in the perspective of our life.

The  distinct   personal   styles   and   manifestations   of  a diverse  spectrum  of  people  are  communicated  through the  ritual  of  eating  their  favorite  meal.  A  tap  dancer, a professor,  a  photo-artist,  an  actress,  are  some  of   the documented  case studies.  In each  person  we see  their individuality and our collective similarity.

Each  case  study  contains  a  sequential  set  of  up  to  5 photographs  and  an  accompanying  text  describing that particular individual in the context of eating. The black and white silverprints measure about 32" x 40"- 84cm x 102cm and  are  selectively hand colored,  focusing on the person and  food;  the  text  measures  11" x 14"  - 28 cm x 36 cm. There  are  60 photographs  in this body of work  printed in an edition of 5.
