Kierstin, inhabiting a 6 year old's fantasy world, shares her room with rabbits, dwarfs, and teddy bears. As quickly as her moods pass she creates accompanying costumes - a ballet dancer, a black cat, a princess. As a fairy angel she celebrates her favorite meal with a party for her dolls.
She joyfully arranges her room for a birthday party. The carpet swept, star and rainbow drawings pinned to the wall, and Mr Jackson the frog returned to the garden. Each doll and stuffed animal is seated in order of affection. With attentiveness she decorates a chocolate cake she made with thick swirls of icing and candles. Kierstin sings her birthday song, the candles flickering, and everyone is served cake and tea. She devours a generous portion of birthday cake, her favorite meal, while telling stories of flowers and Springtime. Kierstin assumes the reclining position while taking tea, drinking directly from the spout of the teapot.
Examination of Kierstin's case history indicates she chases chocolate bunnies down rabbit holes, and dreams of finding the gingerbread house when the witch isn't home. She is also fond of honey sandwiches. Kierstin's tooth fairy has been surprised by the number of sweet teeth collected under her pillow.
